10 Days Aberdares, Sweetwaters, Tsavo West, Taita Hills & Malindi Beach

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and welcomed by our guide/driver. Transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Extra activities can be organized on request ad additional cost.

Day 2: Nairobi – Aberdares

Have breakfast at your hotel, checkout and head to Aberdares national park, a hotspot for wildlife in northern region of Kenya and a home to a spectacle wildlife population including the rare bongo antelope.
Arrive in time for lunch which you will have at your lodge and rest for a while, in evening you will go for an evening game drive spotting animals with use of a spotlight. Animals to look out for include black rhinos, lions, golden cats, antelopes among others. You will spend your night at the romantic Treetops Lodge and from the balcony of the lodge you will able to enjoy wildlife action viewing animals near the flood lit waterholes. Dinner and overnight at Treetop lodge.

Day 3: Aberdares – Sweetwaters/Ol Pejeta

Have breakfast at your lodge, checkout and set off on a drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Nanyuki, the conservancy is a home to lions, cape buffalo, African elephant, leopards, rhinoceros, Jackson hartebeests, silver backed jackals, hyenas, dik-dik, Grevy’s zebras among others. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge/camp then go for a game drive in the plains of Ol Pejeta Conservancy where you will spot various animals and after the experience you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight. You will spend your night at Sweetwater’s luxury camp.

Day 4: Ol Pejeta – Nairobi

Have breakfast, checkout and transfer to Nairobi city arriving in time for lunch at one of the restaurants in the city, after lunch you will go for a city walk visiting Nairobi Museum and go shopping. In the evening you will head to your hotel, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 5: Nairobi – Tsavo West National Park

Have breakfast then checkout and drive to Tsavo West national park arriving in time for lunch at the lodge, after lunch you will go for an afternoon game drive. Following various trails in the savannah plains of the park you will be able to have sightings of herds of elephants, lesser kudu, lions, cheetahs, hippos, leopards, buffaloes and zebras among others. You might hear the roars of lions in the African jungle, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Tsavo West – Taita Hills Sanctuary

Have breakfast, checkout and proceed to Taita Hills Sanctuary a privately owned wildlife sanctuary situated in Taita-Taveta Country, the sanctuary is a home to animals such as African bush elephant, leopard, lions, cheetah, Maasai giraffe, zebras, hartebeests, impalas, waterbucks among others.
You are to arrive in time for lunch at Salt Lick Lodge and in afternoon you will go for a game drive exploring the sanctuary and watching a variety of animals. After the experience you will head to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Taita Hills – Malindi Beach

Depart from Taita Hills Sanctuary after breakfast and journey to Malindi. Check into a beach resort. Enjoy a delightful lunch at the resort’s restaurant, sampling fresh seafood and local delicacies.
Spend the day indulging in beach activities such as snorkeling, fishing, or taking a boat trip.
Enjoy a romantic dinner by the ocean, savoring delicious cuisine.
Retire for the night at the resort, embracing the tranquil ambiance of Malindi’s coastline

Day 8: Malindi

Start your day with a delightful breakfast at your resort.
Embark on a journey to explore the charming town of Malindi, known for its rich history and cultural heritage.
Visit iconic landmarks such as the Vasco da Gama Pillar, a historical monument commemorating the Portuguese explorer’s arrival in East Africa.
Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of local markets, where you can shop for unique crafts, souvenirs, and flavorful spices.
Relax and unwind on the pristine beaches of Malindi, soaking in the sun and enjoying the picturesque coastal scenery.
Indulge in a romantic seaside dinner and return to your accommodation.

Day 9: Malindi – Marine Park Exploration, Beach Relaxation

Begin your day with a delicious breakfast at the beach hotel.
Explore the vibrant underwater world at Malindi Marine Park, indulging in snorkeling and admiring the colorful marine life.
After an exciting morning, savor a satisfying lunch in the hotel.
Treat yourself to a rejuvenating spa session, where you can unwind and relax amidst tranquil surroundings.
Spend the afternoon soaking up the sun and enjoying the pristine beaches of Malindi, lounging on the soft sand or taking leisurely walks along the shoreline.
Dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Malindi – Nairobi – Departure

Start your day with breakfast in Malindi.
Depart from Malindi for Nairobi.
Arrive in Nairobi and have lunch.
Depending on your schedule, indulge in any optional activities or last-minute shopping.
Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for departure, concluding your trip.
